STOCK MARKET BEARISH -- SHORT

Keybot the Quant remains short to start the new week.  The algorithm is closely watching copper and financials.  Both are on the bear side but any buoyancy will turn the broad markets bullish.  The utilities also appear to be a key focus of Keybot.  For UTIL, currently at 400.18, if the 397.39 level is lost the broad markets will be selling off in force.  If UTIL level of 393.31 is lost, the broad markets will go into free fall.

For now, the algorithm says the bears remain in control, although the bulls are trying to regain control by bouncing the financials and copper, while at the same time preventing utilities, UTIL, from losing the 400 level.  For tomorrow, the SPX begins at 1279.  If the SPX touches 1289, then the bulls will be running and expect more upside.  If the SPX can work down to a 1276 handle, only three points lower, then the bears will growl forcibly again, and more than likely accelerated selling will occur.
