STOCK MARKET BULLISH -- LONG

Keybot flipped to the long side at the open; the SPX jumping 1.3% in the first few minutes. The algorithm triggered off the strength in technology, the INTC earnings last night has everyone bullish today.  The semi's are up over 3% today and the recent bearish posture is a memory now.

Other major sectors that Keybot is scanning currently show that utilities have jumped towards March high numbers.  Utes, semi's, retail, commodities ex copper and low volatility are the main drivers of the bullish jump.  The bearish side is represented by the weak financials and copper.  Keybot is assigning a high priority to copper movement now and it will have a major impact on whether the rally continues or fizzles.

The SPX is up over 5% on the year now.  With this jump today, a move towards filling that February SPX 1340 gap, and a test of the previous 1343 top, is now back in play.  Keybot the Quant remains up 1% on the year but the actual trading results are now down 2% as a result of this opening gap up. The algorithm has now dropped into the one-for-one index ETF's mode due to the sideways behavior for the indexes this year.

Caution is warranted moving forward and a whipsaw back down for the indexes would not be surprising.  Use copper as a key guide over the next couple days.
