STOCK MARKET BULLISH -- LONG

Keybot the Quant remains long despite the algorithm clicking off a lower number after yesterday's open. The financials, semiconductors and commodities sectors are perceived to be bearish by the algorithm while all other major sectors are bullish.

Watch XLF today, at 15.41, is sitting exactly on top of the algorithm's value of 15.41 which determines bullishness versus bearishness.  The way that XLF price moves today will take the broad markets with it.  Above 15.41 and the bulls will be running, below, the bears will be running.

For the SPX today, the bears have established a firm beach head at 1341 resisitance and the fight will be here again for the third day in a row.  If the bears hold 1341 today, they will have established sturdy resistance and will increase their strength overall.  If the bulls punch up thru 1341, simply touching the 1341 handle, the buyers will come in force, the indexes wil immediately drive higher, the SPX will move upwards to 1345, then 1349, as the gap fill at 1360 will come into sight. Simply watch XLF 15.41 and SPX 1341 today; they will tell you the way the broad markets will move today. Below and the bears are in biz, above, and the bulls will be rocking higher.

The bears need to see a 1330 handle today to get any substantial selling pressure to return to the indexes.  Keybot remains comfortably long, 23 points above the signal line, but the broad markets remain unstable with choppy moves expected.
