STOCK MARKET BEARISH -- SHORT -- CAUTION

Keybot the Quant remains short as a wild trading day plays out. The algorithm is a hair away from going long.  Semiconductors, SOX, is providing the upside thrust, along with lower volatilty.  The algo number is above the signal line and Keybot is chomping at the bit to go long, but, internal programming rules are not falling into place as yet to trigger the move. As a rule of thumb, watch SPX 1383.87, if this print occurs and stays in place for two to three minutes, Keybot will likely flip long.  Continue watching VIX 19.45 and SOX 423.40 as well.

4/15/12; 7:00 PM EST =
4/13/12; 10:00 AM EST =
4/12/12; 11:09 AM EST = +30; signal line is +15 but algorithm says stay short
4/12/12; 9:39 AM EST = +14; signal line is +16
4/11/12; 11:49 AM EST = 0; signal line is +17

Note Added 4/12/12 at 12:06 PM:  The algo is dancing on the ragged edge, SPX just printing above 1383.87 but after several seconds it failed.  Keep watching, but now watch SPX 1383.97 which must hold for two to three minutes for Keybot to likely go long.
