I found your blog and am interested in following it. I read your page "How Keybot the Quant" Works, but did not understand what the signals mean. what does the signal and signal line mean?
ReplyDeleteThe first number on each line with the time stamp is the algo number, on this message, +0, the second number is the signal line, now at +33. In general, if the algo number is under the signal line, the markets are bearish and Keybot is short. Conversely, if the algo number is higher than the signal line, Keybot is long and bullish. Right now, the model is bearish since zero is less than 33. There are other programming rules that must trigger for the algo to flip sides, but in general, simply following the two numbers will give you a great gauge of the markets.
